Encentuate delivers simple, flexible, and complete identity and access management (IAM) at the enterprise end-points. With Encentuate, user-centric IAM functions such as enterprise single sign-on, strong authentication, and auditing and compliance services are executed at the enterprise end-points, while establishing integration with back-end provisioning and directory services.

Encentuate End-Point IAM Architecture

Encentuate AccessAgent and Plug-ins

The Encentuate AccessAgent is present at each enterprise end-point and enables strong authentication, enterprise single sign-on, access and security workflow automation, auditing and compliance. The AccessAgent plug-in framework provides extensibility and flexibility. Single sign-on and other automation capabilities of the AccessAgent can be auto-enabled through the AccessStudio wizard without any need to modify applications or invest in extensive scripting.

Encentuate Wallet

Encentuate is unique in providing a roaming identity wallet - a personal meta-directory that consolidates all of a user's digital identities. Unlike password vaults, the Encentuate Wallet roams to the enterprise end-point and stores all the user's personal identity profiles.

Encentuate IMS Server

The Encentuate IMS Server provides centralized management of users and policies. All policies are centrally defined at the IMS Server and pushed to the AccessAgent for enforcement. Together with the AccessAgent, the IMS Server provides centralized management of enterprise end-points.

Multiple Authentication Factor Support

In addition to the wide support for two-factor authentication methods, which provides flexibility for different user-groups, Encentuate has a strong focus on leveraging existing devices and proximity based for strong authentication. Supported authentication devices include USB smart card tokens, proximity cards, photo badges, biometrics and one-time password tokens. Encentuate is a leader in supporting building access badges, such as HID Prox cards, to provide unified physical and logical access. Encentuate iTag is a patent-pending technology that can convert any photo badge or personal device into a proximity device for strong authentication.

Policies defined in the IMS Server govern the use of these authentication factors.
