Encentuate Positioned in Leading Industry Analyst Firm's 2007 Enterprise Single Sign-On Magic Quadrant

Evaluation Based on Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. - September 5, 2007 — Encentuate, a leading provider of identity and access management (IAM) solutions, today announced it has been positioned in the Challengers Quadrant by Gartner, Inc. in the 2007 Enterprise Single Sign-On Magic Quadrant1 report. Encentuate was evaluated based on its ability to execute and completeness of vision, including its product, overall viability, sales execution and pricing, market responsiveness and track record, and customer experience.

According to Gartner, enterprise single sign-on market growth is robust and, "Improved user convenience and support cost reductions remain the top drivers for clients implementing enterprise single sign-on (ESSO)." Gartner also notes that "The 'sweet spots' for ESSO implementations are in enterprises where password-related help desk costs are high, shared-workstation support is needed, and users must manage a sustained, politically unacceptable number of user IDs and passwords."

"We consider Gartner's positioning of Encentuate further validation of our product strength and a reflection of customer satisfaction, as well as our ability to execute in the identity and access management market," said Zorawar Biri Singh, President and CEO of Encentuate. "We are aggressively expanding our unique product capabilities and we will continue relentlessly to serve our customers' needs."

Encentuate goes beyond single sign-on to automate personal and shared workstation workflows and provides a rich array of session management capabilities. The Encentuate IAM Suite is unique in supporting multiple private desktops on the same workstation. Encentuate is also unique in supporting single sign-on to all applications completely through the browser, requiring no change to existing infrastructure.
